The SBC is an advisory committee to the Chamber's leadership and the Mayor of the City of Hillsboro. The SBC provides educational, advocacy and economic development connections tailored to the needs of small business owners and managers. The SBC is committed to providing the best resources available in order to benefit your business, the Chamber and the community at large. All members of the Small Business Council are members of the Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce.

The SBC shall consist of 15 members serving 2-year terms beginning January 2013. At least 10 members of the SBC must be small business owners. Members of the SBC represent businesses of 50 or fewer employees. The Hillsboro Chamber Board of Directors will be responsible to appoint SBC members.
